House9

House9 is a collaborative graphic design studio, working primarily in the art and culture sector. Reflecting on two decades of working with artists and art institutions, they view these exchanges as some of their most generative and engaging: artists understand the importance of collaboration and equally cherish that germinal moment of moving forward together into something unknown. Some of House9’s recent and award-winning work that exemplifies the fruition of these relationships includes: the identity, website, and phone tree for VIVA! Art Action 2023; John Latour’s book Who Was Who Was Who in Canadian Contemporary Art (Éditions Artexte); the online exhibition for La Galerie de l’UQAM, Françoise Sullivan: Une Ligne Imaginaire; and the exhibition identity for the Canadian Centre for Architecture’s The Design of Carpets That Design Us.
