Lauren Wetmore
Lauren Wetmore is a Canadian curator, writer, and editor based in Brussels. She is Director of Programs at Momus, and co-host of Momus: The Podcast. As a curator she has contributed to exhibitions and commissioning programs internationally including Frieze Projects London, the 2013 Carnegie International, and Mophradat’s Meeting Points 8. She has held positions at Mudam Luxembourg, The Banff Centre, Barbican Art Gallery, and curated independent projects for the Kunstenfestivaldesarts Brussels and Fundació AAVC Hangar Barcelona. Wetmore is co-editor of the forthcoming book The Employee (Art Metropole) and has contributed to catalogues including After Laughter Comes Tears (Mudam), Eyes Recently Seen (Letitia Gallery), These Are the Tools of the Present: Beirut–Cairo (Sternberg Press), and Xavier Cha: abduct (MOCA Cleveland). As a critic, she has been published in H ART, Momus, MadaMasr, Spike Arts Quarterly, and C Magazine, among others.
