Maya Mackrandilal

Maya Mackrandilal is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, educator, and community arts organizer living and working on Tongva land (Los Angeles). She earned her BA in Studio Art with High Distinction from the University of Virginia and her MFA in Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has shown her artwork and presented performances nationally and has published essays, creative nonfiction, and poetry. She is the founder of Revolution Art Society, a monthly podcast and newsletter tracing her wanderings through art and life, and Revolution Dressed, a clothing brand featuring her artwork.
